I really want to get a new pc for playing minecraft and other games like simcity and stuff like that. i dont know a lot about computers at all so i really need help lol. as long as its not hard i could build one because i have very supportive friends and family.but im willing to pay about $2,000 at most. so if you guys could recommend any prebuilt or if not, everything i would need (GOOD QUALITY) to build it...monitors and everything.... preferably dual monitor for recording purposes. and also maybe some good microphones and headsets if you want (NOT INCLUDED IN BUDGET)
Gave you a lot in your budget for the best possible experience.
Could go much cheaper, also this is if you are playing BF3, BF4, Crysis, etc. You only need around a $600 build for minecraft. Also gave you great mic and headphones and a mechanical keyboard. Dual IPS monitors as well.
thank you both so much. were either of them hard to build? it doesnt particularly matter, i just want to know so i know what im getting myself into. and are those better than any pre-built computers i can get for what im looking for?

I didn't build the one I posted, but it will be easy to build.
Here is a tutorial:
And yes, it will be way better than any prebuilt at that price range.

Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 | AMD Phenom II X6 1090T | Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 | 1TB WD Caviar Black | Intel 520 240GB SSD | Corsair H70 push-pull | Antec P280 White Windowed
While both of those builds are good, they are extremely overkill for games like Minecraft and SimCity. You would need at most $800 for a rig that could record most games at decent settings (and max settings for Minecraft) no problem. Will you be recording any other games besides the two you listed?

I have one more question...well my office area where my computer will be located is in a separate room off my garage with no A/C or heating. so i want to know if the computer is delicate in those types of areas and if i should get anything to make it better because i am willing to do so.

No it'll be perfectly fine.
In the summertime if it's really hot your temps might get high, but it'll be nothing to worry about.
Winter is good for computers as it lowers temperatures.
But again, tell us what games you're playing. If only Minecraft and SimCity, the build I posted is way overkill.

maybe some shooting games. lots of simulations. but i think im going to stick with the build you gave me. it sounds worthwhile, good quality, and everything i wanted. and also under my budget by almost $300

The 3570k is only 170$ if you pick it up in store.Otherwise it is 220$. I'd recommend the 8350 instead. You won't need the 7970, just get the 7950. If you are only playing games like mc you don't even need these.
This would be even better
