I'm seeking to build a new Gaming PC that is able to host a minecraft server fairly well. My internet speed is 2 bars so not that good. Anyways, lets talk budget. My budget for this PC is $850 and the only extra item I need is a keyboard. So really, a $50 keyboard and a $800 Gaming rig. The games I will be playing on this are Minecraft, Skyrim, and RuneScape. This Computer has to be fast and has to be able to run minecraft at 70+ fps on the max settings. Like I said, I will be hosting a minecraft server for a few months before I buy a host, so this computer has to be able to do that.
The only extra thing I need is a keyboard. I don't want a fancy one though, I just need a $30 one.
Yes, I need windows 7 home premium boot disk (64bit)
From experience he's going to run into issues with 2 or 3 people.
And even then, his ping is rather high so people will be slightly annoyed by this, and he wouldn't be able to use the internet on his own (eg. play games himself, youtube, etc.) when people were on the server.

You'll be able to host maybe 1-2 people...
Sorry buddy.
Your internet doesn't effect your FPS on a game that isn't connected to the internet. Ex. If you are on a server and you are lagging with block lag, it is server lag not your computer - but if you are lagging via FPS then it is your computer...

Chances are you will be bottlenecked by internet speed for hosting a server anyways.
On to the computer you want.
Do you need an OS? Mouse? Monitor?
Can you salvage any parts? Are you building it yourself?

Yeah. Seems pretty high to me too, at least compared to the 14ms I get.
