I have 3 options D:
-Java TM web start launcher
-Java Platform SE binary
-Java Platform SE binary
You could try running it with this BATCH file. Just download it and put it in the same directory as the Terrem.jar then open it
Or try clicking the Java Platform SE binary options
All the tools and ores will be implemented in the next version. There are wooden tools for now though. And you bet its original well after i came up with it i found it was a random shoe company but there are no trademarks on it so....
I have been trying to slowly move it away from Minecraft. I just need some ideas on things I could do. But thanks! I don't really want to make a forum as much as I would like people to just post here for now. Too much of a hassle for something that doesn't need to be done quite yet
Well, what kind of tools are there?
Here are some tools that would be different than the MC ones:
- Hammer/sledge instead of P-axe
- Macheete instead of axe?
- dagger/knife instead of sword, maybe sword from iron or from other metals. Because making a long/medium sword (that's actually sharp) from wood and stone, nah, not IMO
Well it is funny you say that... I am going to post my entire list of weapons I am adding. But here it is!
woah! this looks pretty good! Nice job.
You should put it on kickstarter once its done, to help distribute the game
Thanks! It all depends on whether people actually like the game and more than 12 people are playing it. If more people start playing, sure I'll put it up somewhere.
So i see there is a speed glitch. I'm not having this trouble in fact I move quite slow. Does your code reupdate the screen with every step? If so that could be causing you problems

Nocte and I found it is a glitch in Java for Linux that causes it. I am working on that right now. But glad to see you finally playing the game lol xD and thanks for the suggestion
Take ideas from one game and it's plagiarism. Take ideas from two games and it's research.
Don't concentrate on items, npcs, or materials. Cart before the horse. Think about game mechanics instead; the rest will follow.
Words of wisdom! Way back when I started coding, that was the philosophy I started with. Ever since then I have been drifting further away from that. Thank you once again Nocte! Linux support is coming...
Windows 7
My problem is that my defualt program to open it is winrar, so I don't know what to open it with, and where to find it.
:\
Try right clicking the Terrem.jar and go to Open with... then hit Java
Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed as well
