Depending on what CPU it has it probably isn't that bad for the price considering how much more expensive parts are in Australia.
Edit: Do you know which i5? They are all good for the price you paid, but I'm just curious.
Intel Quad Core i5 3470 3.20Ghz (3rd Generation Ivy Bridge, 6MB Cache, Turbo Boost to 3.60Ghz)
It also has a Heat sink too! Copied from the description Here is the link to the product: http://www.ebay.com....=item43af642e02
not a bad deal, case is kinda meh but for the price not bad at all, just get a better GPU and PSU and your fine http://pcpartpicker.com/au/p/eSeF thats a pretty good price to be honest

Thats great to hear! Most PSU's are actually pretty cheap so maybe when I get some funds I will upgrade the GPU and the PSU aswell.
Thanks for feedback guys, I just needed a indication in whether I was doing the right thing
Probably the best budget card for gaming is the 7850. You can often find it on sale for $200-220 and it will play most games on Ultra settings. Since you said you want it to last a while though a 7950 or 670 would probably be best. The 7950 is better when it comes to rendering and editing videos, but the 670 is better for just gaming.

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.

Sorry for asking, but what company is the 670 made by? Like Radeon or I don't know... Sorry, bit of a n00b :/

The AMD Radeon HD series uses 4 numbers and is currently on the 7000 series and Nvidia uses 3 numbers and is on the 600 series. So the proper names for them are Radeon HD 7950 and GTX 670. AMD and Nvidia mainly just make the chip and board for the graphics card, other companies like MSI, Asus, and Sapphire make the coolers for the cards.

Pretty decent, I would recommend saving some money for a new PSU and GPU, I would get a R7850 or a GTX660Ti, and for the PSU any Corsair 650W PSU will be fine.

Gaming entirely pretty much, I want it to last me at least over a year - But I plan on upgrading the GPU as soon as I can

Yeah, I will defiantly look into upgrading both of them - Just out of money you know
