Right now I am trying to make sure that in the near future, I can post good Youtube gaming videos, and I wanted to ask 2 questions about what kind of computer I should get.
1. Should I get a desktop or a laptop?
2. What kind of desktop/laptop computer should I get?
I really want feedback, i've been looking for computers, however I don't have the money right now to get one, I just want some advice on what I should plan on getting and how much money I should put away to get one.
Here is a list of games I plan on playing on it
Far Cry 3
Skyrim
Halo
Sims 3
Starbound
Don't Starve
Gary's Mod
Batman Arkham Trilogy
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Minecraft
Terraria
Spiral Knights
Dota 2
Dungeon Defenders
Dofus
That's just a few games to name right off the bat. I would be recording with Fraps as well, so something that can not only run the game well, but can also handle running Fraps with it.
Thanks and I really do appreciate any help I can get.

You should get a desktop because desktops have a better price performance ratio than laptops. Also you should wait until have the money before asking for help with getting a computer beauce prices of computers change a lot over a few months

That's true, just I wanted to have like a base price for what I should shoot for, then once I have it, see how much more I need to get, or maybe if I already have enough and the price had dropped. Right now my base price is around $1,000.
So why are you asking for comparisons between brands?
I'm not asking for any comparisons between any brands whatsoever. What i'm asking is whether I should get a desktop or a laptop and what brand of computer out of the desktop/laptop area should I get.

Are we talking about only 2 brands which you didn't bother to mention or do you actually believe there are only 2 brands total?
No, I was talking out of the 2 as in out of Desktop or Laptop. I know there are plenty of different brands, I can name 3 or 4 off the top of me head.
No, no, which brand out of the 2 computers. Is that any better?
That's what I wanted to leave open, I don't prefer any specific brand, just as long as it's good.
