So I have a minecraft server running on what used to be a file server. It's running Ubuntu 10.04.
The thing I want to change is instead of having to type the 24.XXX.XXX.XXX ip to connect to the server I want something more like a web address that people type in to connect to it instead. While I would normally search google on how to this, I don't know any of the technical terms and whatnot to search for...
Any help & suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance and stuff, if there's anything else you need to know feel free to ask.

And he means using a DNS. That I should know how to do but I dont remember at the moment.
Cool, cool. Will try when I'm not feeling to lazy to mess with the server...
