The second one First one is better, however this is kind of excessive, don't you think building it would be better because you won't see much benefit from the 2600k or the 16 GB of RAM. Second one is also out of stock.
EDIT: They flip-flopped somehow, the first one is the better one.
I assume you are going to use it for gaming (since both computers are listed as gaming computers).
They are very similiar. The first one has 4 cores and 3.5 GHZ, and is better then the 8-core AMD 3.6GHZ. The first harddrive is smaller then the second one, but unless you are piracing music and editing movies alot you won't need the extra TB. The second one can play blu-ray CD's, which is not really needed. The second one has a much better graphics card.
It is up to your personal preference. Will you push it to the limits? Choose the first one. Will you watch movies, perhaps save/edit movies and music alot, the second one.
Although, the first one is better at editing movies (I7 proccessor), overall performance will not be very different.

Its just that a few years ago amd drivers were terrible so games ran bad on radeon cards, but they are much better now so there is no reason to not get a radeon card.

The first one is 8 core via hyperthreading.
"Virtual cores," I am aware of what it does....
Uh not true.
OP, don't buy either. You can get the same system for $900.
