My motherboard's manufacturer (ASUS) has released an updated bios for my motherboard (P8Z68 V/GEN3) and I have no idea how to update it. The file they gave me was a .ROM inside of a zip file, so how do I update it? The motherboards link is: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z68VGEN3/ . I currently have the original BIOS (2009 version).

Bios update if it fails can ruin a motherboard. Don't update the bios unless it fixes a bug you are experiencing.
OK...... it still under warranty, though I don't want to take that risk, also could this be causing the 4 diffrent blue screens I'm getting?

You shouldn't update your BIOS unless your having problems with the current one. Usually updates are just big fixes.
Hmm I'm not sure what's causing the BSOD so I wouldn't want to take that risk.

The webpage is not loading for me but unless the bios update says fixes instability or something to that extent don't update. The blue screens can be anything incorrect voltages bad video drivers bad ram bad hard drive faulty windows install faulty pci card.
Look up the correct voltages speeds for the ram and the CPU double check them in the bios a lot of time bios do not set ram voltages right.

Hmm it sets the RAM at 1376 instead of 1333, I have all RAM slots installed. Also I got this: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000de (0x0000000000000002, 0xfffff8a010d018e0, 0xfffff8e010d018e1, 0x00000002dd0bc8c0). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 121611-20810-01. it was from a long time ago, will upload newer ones if you want. Could also post RAM and CPU timing from monitor if necessary. I have already ran Windows HDD diagnostics nothing, one stick RAM tests nothing, Memtest86 for over 11 hours nothing, and Windows Memory diagnostics.

Updating a bios on an asus mobo is fairly easy. The zip file you got, unpack it onto a usb drive. When in the bios, find a feature called EZ update. (i think). From there you can select the usb drive and then the new bios.
Really though you won't need to update your bios unless your having problems. Not sure about your BSOD's though. :/

That error is for corrupted system files, specifically drivers.
I can't really tell you exactly which drivers are causing the problem, but I am guessing the display drivers.

Hmm after I updated and reinstalled all drivers this error stopped but the STOP codes: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQAUL 0x0000000A, 0x00000124,0x00000101,SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0x0000003B are now happening. I have re installed the Nvidia drivers twice already.

That's a memory issue I believe, do you know how to do a memory test?

Yes, as I said I've already run Memtest86 for 11 and a half hours with no errors, and Windows Memory Diagnostic.

No to be honest, may you link or post a tutorial, if I find an unreliable one who knows what could happen.

Hmm I haven't changed any BIOS settings, though randomly the all if the CPU cores shoot up to 100% on bare minimal procceses no programs being so slow I must reset it.
