So here's the story: I currently have Windows installed on my 1TB hard drive. I want to format it and reinstall Windows on an SSD drive. Now, I have the full versions of Fraps and Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 11 installed. When I reinstall those after formatting, I will need the full versions again.
For Fraps, it says that I have a "single-user license". However, I have an email from them saying "Go to the member's area to download your full version of Fraps." So does that mean I can download it as many times as I want? Does "single-user license" mean that it is registered to my account? And if I login again I can download it again?
About Sony Vegas: I have a serial code for it. Is it only 1 time use though? Or can I use it more than once but I have to unregister the old copy? How does it work?
Thanks for your help
(also don't mention about writing down the hardware models so I can reinstall the drivers later, etc. I already have that done)

It means it can only be on one computer at a time. (For both) Also I believe FRAPS is on an account basis so it's kinda like if you buy something on steam you can put it on any computer, but it can only be on one at once. (Not sure on this)
i would just try and be safe and copy all of your fraps files and all of your sony vegas files and folders onto a flashdrive and then place them on your reformatted harddrive

It's fine, at least for Sony Vegas as a serial is not a one time deal. It's like a Windows license as long as it activates and another one doesn't exist at the same time your fine.

So how do I deactivate the old one?
