That is even in single player the compact maps with 64 players will be more demanding usually then single player.
Oh wait, nevermind. Someone I knew had that card and was playing during beta and said he set the graphics on high. But I heard something about beta only limiting the graphics to medium, so that could be it. Either way, BF3 has really really high quality graphics, most other games probably aren't as demanding.
I have the same card, but it's not exactly "really old" as it is was the top card of it's generation.
Yeah, a friend recently gave it to me saying that it was a 3 or 4 year old card. I guess I though that was "really old" But it still performs like its new. :smile.gif:

It's from 2008 and the chipset was carried over from the 8800GT, and carried over again to the GTX220 or 240.
Considering graphics have kind of plateaued between then and now it's still a good card. Once the next console gen begins though it will barely be able to play anything.

When that comes I will be prepared for that, because I just bought a GTX 560 today. :biggrin.gif:
I just got a GTX 460, and I have a AMD FX 4100 X4 pro.
I'm wondering what games I can run like TF2, MW3, Skyrim, And If possible, BF3.
Thanks.
Yes, probably not, yes and probably not. The 460 is not the greatest card out there.
A 6870 or 6850 would be better.
It can't run MW3, yet it can run skyrim.
Skyrim is better optimized for low end computers, it can run on pretty much any hardware oblivion can run on the settings go so low.
Games are coded differently.
I find that partially surprising partially unsurprising.
Then again I wouldn't know, I don't play generic shooters.
Well I know Mw2 ran on my old laptop and they have not changed the graphics sense then.
The GTX 460 is capable of running BF3 on high settings at 60 FPS.
I disagree.
