Hey guys, I just got a new Laptop and I was wondering if anybody could tell me some good games I can get on it. I know its not a top quality pc but I know there has to be a couple of games I can play without any problems. And also i would like to know what i can do to make it better for gaming. Its a HP 2000 notebook and im interested in mmo or mmorpg games and also adventure/survival games.
Here are the specs:
Also im still a noob when it comes to system information so im not exaclty sure what specs I need to include. But if more information is needed please tell me so I can find out. Thanks for any suggestions!
That ting can't run crap, you need a new computer if you want to play games
If it's new how much did you pay for it?
You can for a desktop but it's extremely hard on a laptop, laptops uses different hardware
Yeah I knew since before I bought it that it wasnt going to be able to run much. I mainly got it for school but I also wanted to play a couple of games. I got it for $350 but im planning on buying a better one once I get a job. What brand would you suggest is best for gaming besides Alienware?

Nope. Please save yourself the money and go either Lenovo, Asus, or Sager.
Alienware is simply overpriced, with bad build quality, So I've heard.
I know this is probably a longshot, but do you guys think i would be able to run DayZ on my pc? Like even if i had to lower the resolution and other settings.
You could run skyrim on the lowest quality with mods to make it a lower quality. As many people have said TF2 should run fine and is a pretty good game
(facepalm) He can always upgrade the RAM on it. I like system 76's computers.
Upgrading the RAM will do little to nothing to improve his performance on most games. 4 GB is fine for most current games, and if he upgraded, it would just be bottlenecked by the rest being a potato.

Stay away from early access games, there is no telling if it will be abandoned before completion, or how long it will take to come out.
You could play WoW if you are willing to pay the $20 a month.
LoL and DOTA 2 are decent if you like MOBAs
FTL is pretty good.
Terraria is also good as long as you have the patience to get high level weapons and armour (totally worth the time and effort)
You have a pretty bad rig so you can't play much on it, but those above don't need great PC's to run.

Also, you included ram twice,
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Chip type: AMD Radeon HD 8280 (0x9836)
DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Resolution: 1366x768x 60 hz
RAM: 4.0 gb

Anyway, as nobody else has mentioned it, the Counter Strike Collection would be great. All 4 games should be run-able except maaybe CS:GO.
Not for a laptop, no.
If you're into MOBA's - League of Legends/Dota :P.
Definitely TF2 would be a good choice. From what I know, CoD really doesn't take a lot of resources
I think WoW could also work. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/world-of-warcraft-system-requirements.

Alienware has horrible price:performance. I'm not an expert, but from my experience with the forums Sager, Asus, and Lenovo are usually recommended.
Isaac would probably have to be on the lowered video settings. It's not optimized that well because Flash. FTL is great though.
