Can I name a Franchise that disappoints me if so Pokemon! It's the same repetitive thing over and over again! And it's very boring! YOU HERE ME GAME FREAK? MAKE POKEMON OPEN WORLD AND HAVE GRAPHICS LIKE SKYRIM!!
Oh and I guess I'll name so more
Skyrim disappointed me very badly! I thought it would be way cooler than oblivion but all it was was better graphics, dual wield, better sprinting and that was it.
The walking around was horrible. Not being able to yield sucks, and did i mention that it's hard to get around?
Dead Island 1 It didn't get me hooked like any other zombie game like Resident Evil or Dead Rising.
Paper Mario Sticker star:
I thought thought that you got partners again but nope, you get an annoying sticker that gives you "advice" on what to do. There is no hint on what to do so you have to look up everything and you don't know what sticker to use to get the next comic piece also there's a boss battle that I heard (I only got to the 2 chapter and then I quit the game) that you need to beat it or it freezes the game or some jazzafraz.

Pokemon is like a huge puzzle, You can't really implement a open world to a puzzle.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity- Removed useful features, slow text, short, and lacked content. Hated it compared to Sky and Red Rescue Team.
DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi: ROCK PAPER SCISSORS ROCK PAPER SCISSORS
Paper Mario: Sticker Star- "HA! We don't need a combat system!"

Hey, guys. Quote me if you want me to respond. Otherwise I'll have no idea what the hell you want with me.
Friend Code: 1263-6258-8121 (Poison)
Friend Safaris: Poison: Swalot, Whirlipede, Seviper.
I have quite a few games that I was disappointed in, but here are my Top 2:
SimCity 5 - Do I need to even go into detail on this one? Always-online play, laggy servers, broken systems... all for $60?
Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity: All of the pop culture references really bugged me for some reason. I also felt like the game wasn't challenging enough - like they planned it for 6 year olds or something instead of people who know how to play the game. I played this for about 20 minutes and then went back to Red Rescue Team.
-Civ 5. I still like it, but I don't like how diplomacy is basically not an option unlike in Civ 4.
-Minecraft. Yes, really. Back in Beta it seemed to be following a pretty good direction and it looked like all of the flaws the game had would end up being (mostly) fixed. Then, 1.8 came around, butchered the terrain and removed 50% of the reason I played, and 1.0 took out another 10%. I'm still disappointed that Mojang never actually went back and fixed the game up after 1.8, but if they ever do i'll probably pick up the game again. Given that it's been a whole 6 updates and over a year since 1.8 and not a single one of them has done anything significant to fix the poor depth/progression, terrain, and combat of the game, i'm doubting that will be soon.
-Spore. Early in development it looked like it was going to be very good but it didn't end up that way in the end. At least it's mediocre.
-TLoZ: Skyward Sword. Unlike most Zelda games it did not have the big massive overworld like most of the games with plenty of secrets; it was just 3 zones loosely connected to a moderately sized (yet mostly empty) area. The gameplay also, for some reason, felt more repetitive than the other Zelda titles; I wouldn't want to go back to Skyward Sword (or at least the early game) but I wouldn't mind going through another Windwaker, TP, or OoT playthrough (provided I do a challenge run for OoT or TP).
Paper Mario: Sticker Star- "HA! We don't need a combat system!"
Yeah I hate that they did that I mean once you have your book full there's no point in getting anymore. There isn't even a motivation to kill enemies for what getting more coins that you don't spend so you always have a steady 999 coin balance.

Pokemon is literally getting super dumbed down with every single iteration. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Just Cause 2 was kind of a letdown mostly because of the stupid gating. There's only about 5 story missions and they have to gate them behind other stupid "faction" missions which you have to complete 50 of just to unlock a 20 minute story mission.
Skyrim - More gameplay in Oblivion
Awesomenauts - Reppetitive and no incentive to use more than one or two characters
BIT.TRIP CORE - I really just hated this game
Cave Story+ - Wasn't bad, just boring.
Cortex Command - Not enough content
Darksiders - Button Mashy
Day of Defeat - Am I playing CS:S or DoD?
Dungeon Defenders - Why does everyone hype this game up?
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast - Not gonna talk about it.
Intrusion 2 - Looked great, played bad.
Lead and Gold - Gangs of the Wild West - Repetitive gameplay and unclear leveling.
Legend of Grimrock - Blah.
Loadout - I suck at this game and there is no indication as of why.
Lone Survivor - Boring.
Magicka - Unreasonably high system requirements for a game that doesn't even look that good.
RACE 07 - Bad.
Receiver - Not really randomly generated, terribly lacking content.
Red Faction: Armageddon - You went from a great open-world to this?
Red Orchestra 2 - Too realistic? I don't know.
Sanctum - This was just terrible.
Super House of Dead Ninjas - Not sure if I'm supposed to take this game serious or not. Boring.
Terraria - No shine.
Towns - Boring.
Actually you can! What is Zelda? They can and they should! If they don't we send them a butchered head
Huh? I play LoZ on a Gameboy colour emulator.
And it's just like Pokemon. If it was made an open world in pokemon, We could just walk around the puzzles.
Civ 5: Dumbed down to appeal to a wider audience. Civ 4 + expansions is much better.
Red Faction Armageddon: Went from open-world gameplay in Guerilla to linear garbage that it is now. I hope THQ goes bankrupt for this one.
Supreme Commander 2: Dumbed down like Civ 5 for same reasons. The series went from being one of the best RTS games to a complete joke. Forged Alliance beats it by miles.
CS:GO: Few modes on multiplayer, no campaign, and to win you need perfect aim on the head. Also poor collision detection. Pretty shallow for a Valve game.
Metroid Prime 2: Being a sequel to one of my favorite games, it really dissapointed me. The presentation was pretty bleak and the music wasn't really catchy or memorable. I know that backtracking is something the Metroid series is known for, but this game really has you backtracking, lots of it. While it was harder, (no innuendo needed) the game sometimes expects you to do too much. (I'm look at you Boost Guardian) Mainly because save stations were very scarce. The boss fights were pretty epic though.
Super Monkey Ball Adventure: Music ripped from the original game, slippery controls, unbalanced difficulty, and incredibly bland. All I can say.

and lastly
Saints Row 3 It turned into a GTA Sy-FI film

Halo 4
Portal 2
Even though I think Final fantasy XIII (13) is extremely under-rated (and a good game), im just supprised too see that its not in this list.
Finally someone who agrees with me!
Huh? How?
I really enjoyed it. Much over the first.
Hey everyone, I'm back!
Too much hyping for a horrendous platform game. Only thing I enjoyed in Terraria were boss battles.
Actually you can! What is Zelda? They can and they should! If they don't we send them a butchered head
Morrowind was awesome if you get rid of the horrible combat system! I loved it other than its combat system
