I don't really care for Wind Waker, I love Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask.
Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword made my cry though.
DAMN WHY COULDNT HE BE WITH MIDNA!
and then in Skyword Sword. ugh Nintendo knows how to do Easter Eggs.
Anyways, the future of Zelda..
I'm 100% sure they are remaking Majoras Mask for 3DS.
AND WE WILL NOT SEE THE NEXT HD ZELDA GAME, for like 2-3 years i believe. lol
Link to the Past and Links Awakening will always be my No 1/2.

Anyone hear anything about the new Zelda game for the Wii U? The developers promise that it'll have hours-long dungeons and even a massive world to explore. While North America will be the first region (out of Europe, Japan, and Australia) to get the Wii U in mid-November of this year, the new Zelda should come out in 2014. I'm pretty excited for that.

My favorite Zelda game hands-down is Link to the Past. I don't dislike anything about that game. Second favorite is probably Majora's Mask, third is Link's Awakening. I never liked Ocarina of Time all too much. Skyward Sword was probably the least enjoyable Zelda game to me, simply because it dragged on far too long.
1) Twilight Princess
2) Ocarina of Time
3) Skyward Sword
4) Minish Cap
5) Link's Awakening
And my favorite music is the Gerudo valley theme. No questions asked. I love toon Link and I really want a gamecube so I can play wind waker. I would have put A Link to the Past on this list but I can't even beat the first dungeon without gameshark codes.

My current avatar is Gyro Zeppeli from the popular manga Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. He's my favorite character. I love his optimism, dry humor, and his ability to do considerable damage even without a stand.
You do know that most Wiis can play Gamecube games, right?
On-topic, my favorite piece of music from any of the games is the Great Fairy Fountain song. I can listen to that for hours.
New Wiis can't play GameCube games. That is one of a few reasons I'm not going get a Wii... The new ones can't play GC games, there are only about three Wii games I would actually play, and the Wii-U is coming out soon.
My favourite Zelda music that I can think of right now is the Hyrule Field theme from Ocarina of Time, but the series has so much great music (I prefer Halo's music to all other video game music though...)
This is a tough one. OoT and Majora's Mask are good, but I feel that Twilight Princess overshadows OoT, for two reasons:
first, there are no sequence breaking bugs that are well known. I mean sure, I could not get the green gauntlets through Reverse Bottle Adventure, but, Come on. Who can resist having double defense (white hearts) before the forest temple?). It also uses many of the same enemies, but with an enhanced graphical style and attacks, Deku Baba's, for example. With the expanded world (and the fact that the fields are far less empty). part of my preference might be because I've only gone through Twilight princess twice, whereas I have to have gone through OoT well into a hundred times. Majora's Mask I didn't start playing until quite some time after OoT but I've gone through it enough to have my "favourite sequence" of things to do rather well memorized.
Overall I think I like Zelda II the best. It's the most unique among all of them, IMO, and it does what it does rather well. Though the lives concept is a bit out-dated and the Link Dolls are so few and far between (and are the only way to get extra lives).
I though that the only Wii models that weren't backwards compatible were the Family Edition Wiis.
My high school has a video game club, and we got a Wii for it last year, and it isn't backwards compatible. It's not any special edition either. It's pretty much the "Wii Slim." It's a bit smaller than the normal Wii, and has all the GameCube stuff removed.

That sucks... I got my wii when it first came out so i dont have to worry about that

My favorite game is Ocarina of Time. Maybe my favorite would be MM, WW, or TP, but OoT is my favorite because of the massive hype I had, the memories of playing it, the long hours and all-nighters playing it with a group of 5 friends, gameplay, story, etc. I'm a sucker for nostalgia.
I'll probably be getting the Wii U just to play MM and the new Zelda. More 3rd party games will be on it as well, so it's more than probable that I'll buy it for other games other than Zelda, or other Nintendo games for that matter.

So did I, but my wii died . I got a new one, but it can't play gamecube games.

Majora's Mask. The music, the atmosphere, the story. It was amazing.
What I especially loved was that as time ticked away, the music of Clock Town changed to a more, eerie tone.
Day 1: Happy and normal. Day 2: People start questioning the moon, but are still happy. Day 3: People are much more concerned, but relatively are still happy. What affected me the most, is that the eerie tone of the music made you feel bad for the people, as they were calmly living there lives as their impending doom is simply minutes away. Final Hours: One of my favorite song pieces in the game. Simply, amazing.
I hope they release Majora's Mask on the 3DS. I'd be the first to buy it.
I didnt even get two rows of hearts in that game im never gonna try to 100% it (if I even play it again)
You should they are better than the portable ones

My gamecube recently broke it just stopped working and it would say a fatal error has occurred... It lasted me a good 7 or so years though
