If you have a bad computer, DON'T MAKE VIDEOS. NO ONE wants to watch someone lag around on 30 fps on a youtube video. I don't mean to sound aggressive but that is the truth.
I use camtasia and get 30 fps, with optifine and i rarely ever have lag (only when it starts recording and that does a 1 second lag spike at the beginning)
it's still against the EULA / TOS of the company though, and should not be promoted by a prestigious community such as Minecraft Forum. Though I had to chuckle at the diagram. Even more so since it had pigs. Glad Minecraft will lock you out after 6 in-game days if you didn't buy Minecraft. (1.3 feature)
I bought Minecraft, I wanted to support the developers. And it was worth the $20 when I got it in beta. I only pirate to test, I probably will pirate FRAPS to see if I like it alot. If I like it, I will buy it. I don't want to buy things that I might not like.
Found a great tutorial on YouTube for a cool free game recorder! I really suggest you use it. It worked for me on my noob laptop!

You aren't using Gamebooster to record that video though :V You're using Camtasia Studio. Which probably means that Gamebooster actually sucks for recording, since it's not designed to do that. (Hence the name, Gamebooster.)

You do realize that Camtasia compresses the video as it records, which puts more stress on you system. If OP's PC can't handle Fraps then Camtasia won't be any better...

Actually camtasia is like the best for me right now. It is probably the least laggy thing I have.
if you lag with fraps how the hell do you use camtasia? camtasia compresses the video during recording which means it uses more cpu horsepower.....whatever.... enjoy your 10fps... lol
Not exactly. It just records depending on what it sees...making it less laggy.
And I bought it from fraps.com. Pirating is a big no-no. But what this guy says is true. See a thread I made over at Aeria games for some general information about recording with camstudio:

Ye, I like the FRAPS but the lags, so I choose the total screen recorder, it is no lag and it is very easy to use.
