It can be a hero from any comic/manga/movie. The hero can have no super powers or have powers. Just post which hero you think is not as popular as you think they should be or which you think is most criticized when he/she shouldn't be. (Explanations encouraged.~)

Klonoa from the Klonoa series, because it's also an under-rated game, but I feel like it should be more popular along with him.
Also i'll just throw Guntz in here too. He's a badass at bounty hunting.
EDIT: Okay, I find it ironic that Shinigami is in the person's username who started this, because Shinigami Guntz is Guntz's full name.
Deadpool is one of my favorite marvel characters! Also kind of insane... but who cares! Anyway... I vote Aquaman. Think of it this way. Godzilla comes from the sea. Aquaman controls stuff from the sea. Therefore Aquaman can control Godzilla.
X-Men Origins has made him a pretty badass antagonist.

Not actually the most underrated, but one of the many underrated superheroes. Martian Manhunter was my favorite character in my childhood; I remember him being able to defeat Superman, but I briefly hear about him.
"He is the most powerful being on the face of the Earth", said Superman, but I've never seen a movie about him. Nothing after Justice League.

The Kraken, Oceanus, he's comparing to Poseidon & Neptune ... literally a god.

I guess I liked Nite-Owl (Daniel Dreilberg) from Watchmen, his personal struggles were interesting to me as well as he was probably the only positive example of hero in the Watchmen group.
Yeah Deadpool is actually a fan favourite within the comic community and one of the few things that came out of Rob Liefeld (Well maybe not initially.)
He can control the seals and have them chase you and kill you.
I would have to agree with these 2. You only hear about Spiderman, Superman, Batman. You barely hear about Aquaman and you never hear about Green Arrow.
Cats.

If all of us give a little bit of something to a good cause, we can help to make that cause happen.
