I've actually thought about this quite a bit, most would choose sight, but the more I think about it the more I would choose hearing. I would hate to be unable to communicate more so than I would hate being unable to see. That might just be me though.

But it's probably a pain in the a** to learn sign language without being able to hear whoever's teaching you.

Well there's always the good ol' videos/pictures that you can learn from.
I would pick sight because I'm already into basic sign language and it would be a pain to read in Braille (I read at a high Junior level as I am now in 8th grade) 'cause if I had to read in Braille I would just give up reading most books
Besides,my younger brother went to Kentucky School for the Deaf (even though he is not truly deaf/hard of hearing) and our family goes to these free activities during the summer such as Family Learning Vacation.The parents go and learn about what is happening in school,etc. etc. etc. while brothers and sisters of those who have other siblings that go to KSD learn some basic sign language. So I've learned some pretty basic sign language so I would be good to go if I lost all my senses beside sight
Touch. Life without sight, hearing, tasting and smelling would be livable. I could, with enough training, still potentially navigate in the world using vibrations and such.
However, life without touch can be and is often very, very deadly. A person who can't feel can't tell if they just chopped off pieces of their tongue or severed a finger in a door loses appendages very, very fast.

Without hearing and seeing, life would be pretty much pointless. If you chose sight, you would know if your finger just got chopped off, because you can see it.
Think of all the animals that don't have the feeling of touch? Can't think of any can you? Points to the fact that it is probably essential for survival.
Whereas there are many that are blind and have no hearing. Taste and smell vary extremely throughout and even within species.
Living with only one would of course be incredibly difficult, we have the five sense for a reason.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has one and some stink, now if someone says your armpits stink it isn't very polite to go rubbing it in their face, it isn't going to make them say yours doesn't stink it'll just make them dislike you and your armpit even more. Remember keep your armpits and opinions respectful.
Honestly, I have no clue. Sight and hearing are practically mandatory to not have a seriously frustrating life. Though touch.. My friend who is a doctor says that some people are born without the ability to sense pain. That seems great at first, right? But they die usually before they reach their first or second birthday. Reason being that they injure themselves (cutting skin on sharp stuff, choking, biting lips, falling, etc.) and they never realize they are hurt. Serious illness, they end up dying because of lack of treatment.

I view sign language to communication as using a cane is to seeing.
Another option is to write everything down on paper, but my wrist would die off after one conversation...

I go through the whole day listening to music. I would rather keep it that way.
That is not "touch". Humans have 6 "senses" actually, the 6th is regarded as sensing pain, and the location of attached bodyparts without looking.
