In about a week I'm going to be driving quite a distance (Please note I'm the passenger, not the actual driver). It's going to take me 36 hours to get to my destination. What should I do for the long drive? I have a 3DS and a PSP. I don't have a laptop, so don't suggest MineCraft. Does anyone know of any fun games or something to do?
I've always found a way to sleep during long trips. I've also always found it interesting to watch the scenery go by if I'm in a place I've never been before.

I will probably sleep some in the night. It's kind of hard, because I always end up being uncomfortable. There isn't much for scenery, just a highway with a bunch of cars.
Yikes! Where are you going that is that far away? Would've been a better idea to fly a plane there... if it's more than 3 or 4 hours of driving, I almost always take a plane instead
Get that game 'Dragon Quest 9'. I once had a 16 hour journey and I didn't even come close to finishing it. Bring loads of CD's or stock up your Ipod with songs.
Hmm, never heard of it, I'm going to google it! Yeah my 3ds has lots of songs on it.

I'm driving to Florida, I have some family way down there. It also saves money to drive.
As someone mentioned get DQ9 it's a fantastic game, it has a slow start but it's definitely worth the buy, get kingdom hearts birth by sleep for your PSP that's a good game, I'd also suggest you get PSN card and buy FF8 that'll keep you entertained, well that's if your into JRPGs... As they all are...
I'm going to see what this DQ9 thing is. I have played kingdom hearts before, but I hated it. SO BORING.
If you've got a DVD player, then just watch a **** ton of movies. In the past year, I've driven up and down the Eastern Seaboard four times. I just watch movies,
Ugh, how can you guys stand to game/watch movies/read in cars? That gets me seriously carsick. I just listen to music or podcasts, or sleep on long road trips.

Yeah movies pass time so quick, I plan on watching tons.
Wow, i would stop off at some place and sleep. But get alot of candy/sweets, bring along a gaming device or even a laptop, and entertain yourself in any way. if all fails, sleep. I really dont know though cus in the UK the longest possible journey is 15 hours from Land end, Cornwall to John O Groats, Scotland

As a person who gets sick easily, I don't know. Land vehicles don't bother me that much.
well the most amusing thing to do is to sleep in my opinion.
can you take your phone and a charger that works for the car?
and who is the driver? if its a friend you can play some dubstep on the radio.
I'm not taking my phone, I would have to pay each time I text/call someone. It also doesn't have any games. Also, I don't like listening to dubstep. Can you even find it on the radio?
I've been on eight 10-hour roadtrips during this year alone, and I always take with me my phone that has 450+ songs in it and a pair of headphones, an iPad with a car charger, a good book to read, and of course something to eat/drink.
I don't tend to actually sleep during roadtrips for some reason, although I sometimes doze off for a short amount of time if I'm extremely tired.

My Ipod is stocked 'n' ready. Yeah, I get trouble trying to sleep in a car too.
OOORRRRRR
Sleep!
Ope.
AWESOME IDEA. I AM DOING THIS.
I think it is, I actually may buy that. Looks pretty promising.
Yeah, I'm bringing every game I have + two car chargers.
It's like a better version of what Odarkstar said! This sounds fun!
I do live near a Freak Lunchbox... Hehe (Candy store if you didn't know)

Sleep is always nice. You could also bring a book to read, if reading in the car doesn't make you nauseous.
-Sleep
-Play video games, board games (if possible), or with your sibling, or something.
-Lastly watch a movie or something on a DVD player, but make sure to bring lots of movies because believe me they'll be finishing fast!
Yep, I got three pokemon games. Gonna catch em all!
Yeah, I am looking for a book, because I have read all of mine.
Sleep, sounds good.
I have some travel games to play with the other passengers, also I have some movies I'm going to watch.
But I don't feel like getting kicked out of the car :c

Yeah I got some movies, as for the 3DS playing movies, I don't think I have enough space for one.
Haha, sounds fun. Tick, tick...

Aren't you clever.

That is what i would do exactly that!
