When you guys say there are glitches, or problems of any sort, please say what they are. We can't really do much going off of simply "there are glitches".

The old permalinks are broken. It's a big ask, but can you fix that?

What old permalinks? The ones like ?id=3565 work fine (I added a redirect so they go to the right place). What others are there?

Is it in any way possible to make the quote tags not require the quotes? It kinda fucks up all the old quotes.

No, not easily, that's a core part of phpBB's BBCode. I'm looking into some way to apply a fix only to all of the old quotes (since otherwise we'll get double quoted new ones).

isn't it just a matter of find and replace? itterate through every post and use the parser to find "[quote]" and "[quote=user]" and replace with "[quote="user"]" or am I missing something obvious? :3

You miss the fact that if I do it wrong, I'll turn quote="user" into quote=""user"".

Also, phpBB semi-compiles its BBCode at post time for efficiency reasons, so once you're replaced it all it needs re-evaulating too.

It's possible, just not while I'm at work.

You can add arbitary BBcodes in the ACP, but it won't let you name them the same as existing ones - when you try and add another [quote] it errors out.
