[gdude2002]

gdude2002bot is now pretty well done. You might see it in there, so this is to tell you all what it does.

It really is simple, all it does is pull down Notch's RSS feed and let everyone know when it updates.

However, you can also check it manually, by typing !blog in #minecraft.

This bot has Notch's permission, before anyone says anything

Ideas? Opinions?

So long as it notices the person who asks (and not the whole channel), I think that would be better than a msg. That is, if you intend to keep it one line only. Anything else would be better suited as a msg.

OK. Yeah, I think so too.

I've updated the bot, and am editing my first post now.

I've added a !questions, which gives you the first three questions, answers, and links. use !pmq if, like Ninto, notices disappear too fast on your client (It uses privmsg) - I'll be adding this to !blog, too.

Bot's can't see what they say, they can only remember what they said.

Perzactly.

It's not in use right now for the sole reason that it eats CPU. Ouch.

Any ideas?
