Currently in progress of re-skinning all the textures to hi-res and it's going pretty well, about 50% done I'd say, trying to be as true to the original textures as I can:
The ladder looks a little bright, but everything else looks great! I might actually use it, which is significant because I pretty much never use texture packs.
Also hi Brocklehurst :3
EDIT: Can we get a screenshot with smooth stone in it?
If you're shooting for faithfulness though, i feel it should be pointed out that
1. The original cobble uses mortared stones, unlike your bricks.
2. The metallic trim on the chest seems a bit odd

I definitely agree with the brightness of the ladder actually on a second look, also hi AI! Long time no see :wink.gif:

The cobblestone texture is definitely more of a personal preference to be honest, though I might tweak with the idea of a nice looking original one.
I think the metallic trim might just need making darker, it actually looks pretty nice in-game. (Well, I think so, haha)
I really like this texture pack, and I don't normally like HD ones. My only complain is that the Smooth Stone really looks like Cement, and I'm not sure that fits with the fact that it's supposed to be natural stone.
Nice looking texture pack. I still prefer to use the default mainly out of convenience reasons, but it's nice to see a high-res of the normal textures. As far as the ladder texture goes, you could try adding a bit more of a bevel to it. On the smooth stone, you could try adding some darker specks to make it look less cement-like but I actually don't think it looks too bad as is, but I dunno. Good luck with the project!
the cracks at the bottom of the image you may also want to change, THEN it would look epic (and maybe change the gui, art, icons etc)
The cracks are hi-res? They're only 1 pixel big now. Unless you got a problem with them? I've got most of the GUI done (as you can see on the screensot, with the hearts and bar) but here's the files for the gui so far:
Oh god yeah, I totally forgot about the cactus, thanks for that, I'll definitely use it even just for a placeholder for now :smile.gif:
Taking on the comments, I'll definitely work on the cobblestone, making the stones on the texture bigger is a start really... I'll keep you updated!
After that is the items.png I guess

Let me know what you guys think and I'll keep you all updated!

Rename to terrain.png for now :smile.gif:

And as requested, smooth stone:
Is there a chance we can get a beta release of this anytime soon?
If someone could actually post a screenshot of their farm with this pack, I'd love it, not actually seen how the crops look in-game yet, haha

You'll have to rename it to terrain.png for now until I'm done :smile.gif:
Here's some crops from your texture pack.
