step 1: craft the rifle base parts
barrel and trigger assembly recipe

smelt the iron shards in furnace
1 shard = 1 bullet
crafting recipe for final ammunition

then just craft the resulting ammunition into a magazine as above
step 4: reloading a spent rifle
each time you reload a rifle (or if its brand new crafted), you get 8 shots. just like the real rifle

- right click is to fire a shot (it's a single-shot rifle, no automatic fire)
- left click is a secondary melee attack, impaling the enemy with the attached bayonet

- secondary attack does 4 damage
- chickens have 4 health
- other friendly mobs have 10 health
- hostile mobs (including zombie pigmen) have 20 health
- players have 20 health (without armor)
range stats
- must have direct line of sight to target, projectile travels straight
- range is 20 blocks with perfect accuracy
