A great deal of the popular texture packs available for minecraft (Painterly, Gerudoku etc) are all fantastic in their own right, but they seem to be designed with the individual beauty of each block in mind. That is, that the dirt tile is made to look fantastic when viewed on it's own, as are the ores, and the wood etc. The result is, to me at least, a lot of visual noise. Each block is so unique and detailed in it's own right that looking at an environment made of hundreds of different blocks like this can be a lot to take in, and can be very visually noisy.
Now with 100% more adventure! Clean Lines has caught all the way back up to current Minecraft with the Adventure update, and is fixed, tested and ready to go for 1.8 and all patches up to that. Updated lots of blocks, plenty of items and all of the things that were missing since the last version. Download a copy and get adventuring!
Sorry again about the delay in this update! Lately I've been very busy with my own projects and uni and work!
That being said, I hope you all like the update. I think it's by far the best Clean lines has ever looked - the correct biome grass sides makes all the difference! Have fun, and let me know if there's anything I've missed!
Thanks to skylinerrr for helping out with the cloth blocks and a few other bits and pieces for this patch!
Sorry for taking to long to get this released - I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had much time to update. Hope you like this version! I strongly recommend Betterlight/Bettergrass.
UPDATE 14/01/2011 For Beta v1.2
Updates the back to be compatible with the new changes!
A few of the updates (Birch Trees, for example) need some work, which should be coming soon, but for now this will do.
All textures and Items in 1.2 are working and present.

UPDATE: 26/04/11
Lots of fixes and additions for v1.5
This pack looks really good. Every time i see a 16x16 pack like this or Frendens v5 texture pack i want to switch back to the default texture resolution. I think it is overuse of the noise filter and or the pixelation of the blocks that made me switch from 16x16 in the first place. Now i am thinking of switching back because of packs like this. Great work. Thanks for the pack.
I can't tell from the screenshots, is it biome compliant?
Yes it is! It's fully biome compliant. According to massive demand from the Reddit thread, I've updated the glass to be more standard, and am going to fix a few things tonight/tomorrow and release a bit of an update then. For now, here's the new glass, if you're interested:
Okay so after playing with your texture pack I have a few simple requests
Could you make dirt/wood a little bit more different, easier tell apart from one another? As of right now they look fairly similar to my shitty eyes, the same with gravel/cobblestone.
Could you make the flecks of ore a little more noticeable? Again I can't distinguish ore blocks from cobblestone in my inventory, it's kinda frustrating
Maybe change the color of freshly planted wheat, as of right now it's EXTREMELY hard to see wheat that's just been recently planted into tilled soil.
Other than those minor gripes I love this pack a lot, it's soooo easy on the eyes, and every block looks very attractive, and I'd have to say this pack tiles better than any other.
Thanks for all the feedback guys! I moved all the screenshots to Imgur, so they should be up again for everyone now. I also updated a few things, so you can grab the new version from the top post.

Hey! Thanks for using the pack.
For wood, do you mean the tree trunks? I tried making them a little darker to pop out more, but it looked a big odd in snow biomes, as it was way too dark. I'll think about it and come back to it later.
As for Gravel and Cobble, It seems ok to me? Is it only in dark caves where you're having the problem?

I'll have to try this next revision, but I might make the ore colors more saturated and darken the edges around them. I'm worried it'll look a bit odd in a wall, but I'll see what I can do.

Done! Tips of newly planted wheat are much brighter, so you can see them a bit better. I'm going to need to re-do all of the wheat at some point aswell, but this'll do for now.
Other than those minor gripes I love this pack a lot, it's soooo easy on the eyes, and every block looks very attractive, and I'd have to say this pack tiles better than any other.
Thanks! Glad you like it.
A little something extra: This is how the coal block evolved over time:
By wood I meant processed planks, either the the planks or dirt need to change slightly, I myself would say tweak the planks because dirt is pretty nice looking, and yeah I tweaked your pack here and there for my own use, all I did was increase the hue/saturation for the flecks of iron, cleaned the gravel up, and added tips to the wheat like you did, I also darkened the sand a little because holy **** it's bright.
I really do love the pack though, it's so gentle on the eyes
i really like this texture pack but i would like to change a few things for my own personal use.... but id like to ask first lol may i? either way keep up the good work!

Almost every item in the game has been redrawn and reshaded for a smoother, sleeker look.
THAT LOGO TOTALLY ISN'T INSPIRED BY CLEAN DESIGN AMIRITE?
Anyway, this looks pretty nice, but the lines on the dirt are ugly. There are also way too many simplicity-based texture packs,so this isn't very original either.Still,I like it.

Original Version
The pack was drawn with the idea of removing a lot of the static and noise from the tiles while retaining the original feel of minecraft.
Almost every block has been overhauled and redrawn to match the new style.
Almost every item in the game has been redrawn and reshaded for a smoother, sleeker look.
To Demonstrate the noise difference, here are a few before/after shots

If it's still going, you need to submit this to the texture-pack contest
