“It is said that four brothers, calling themselves the Worlds' Mages, were banished long ago to a rift between the two Worlds. However, some historians believe that the evil four are simply biding their time -- waiting for an opportune moment to reemerge from their prisons and take over the Worlds once again.
That moment is now.”
Welcome to World 2: Lands United, the second in a series of story and exploration-driven adventure maps for Minecraft. In Lands United, the player is given full reign over how they would like to play the map. There is a main quest with many twists and turns for the adventuring type, tons of locations for an explorer to discover, and balanced resources for survivalists. Whoever you are, you'll definitely get something out of this map!
To install, simply unzip and drag the "World 2" folder into /.minecraft./saves/. Keep the "Notes" folder around, and signs in-game will inform you on when to read them.

Thanks: Maxpm and the rest of Aperture Science Freebuild, for getting me started on Minecraft.
The Yogscast, for the inspiration their Minecraft series has given me. PaperbatVG, for getting my first map all of the attention it did.
but the Dl link for this one seems to be broken.
when I clicked Download nothing happens.
Hm... It's working for me, and three other people so far. Not sure what's happening. Are you sure you're clicking the link to the download, and not just the "Download:" tab?
I downloaded this, and think it's very excellent, however, I appear to be stuck at the... "diggy diggy hole"... part, quite early on. I was just wondering if I missed something obvious, telling me exactly where to, y'know, dig. And for how long.
Overall, though, a :Diamond:-worthy map, so far.
Across the way from the Dun Co. Field HQ there's a mossy cobblestone path. Follow it to a village and dig under the biggest tree there.
Very interesting twist at the end there, tied off the end very effectively and neatly, though I must admit, I accidentally burnt down the final room...
Overall one of the best custom maps I've ever played. I hold a candle to you.
That was absolutely amazing... easily the best adventure map ive played yet. The ending was great and i hope you continue to make more maps. HUGE thumbs up over here :laugh.gif:

Do you want me to link all parts as I post them, or just make a playlist or put them as a whole spoiler section, with the first video not in the spoiler section?
Go ahead and link as you post em. I'm excited to see your guys' playthrough :biggrin.gif:
Also, if anyone was wondering, yes, I will be doing at the very least one more new map in the World series. Before I get cracking on that, however, I've got a few more surprises for ya'll. Expect a picture of one of the surprises soon!

Edit: Nope. It is still not working for me. I've deleted my cache and browser history already.
Could you make a mediafire or some other site link?
If you don't, it is still fine for me.
