Awesome! Good to here. What other mods do you have btw (If any) I can see which ones the mod works with. I'll going to play around with the order a bit. What do you think about getting it in this order? Limestone Dust>Limestone Brick>etc. Do you think that would make more sense?
I am aware the Limestone is not actually green, I may change it up in a later release, or if someone would kindly make textures
It's at the very bottom.

Isnt limestone like made of compressed sand and shells and bones at the sea floor i think it would look cooler that way
When shells fall to the ocean floor where there it little mud or sand is apparently where limestone will form. There is also more then one way for it to form apparently. I figured it would be simpler this way. I'll think about it in the future :biggrin.gif:.

In the possible content dust was mentioned, you could add an additional step towards dust by crushing the stone into stone dust and dissolving it into limestone goo and then putting it into the furnace.
But in terms of realism I'd have to say that limestone is mostly CaCO3, found ininsect shells/armor and I think in eggs as well, not sure though. So it would be more logic if it were made by bonemeal and water.
And just like limestone, marble also is mostly CaCo3, so maybe an idea for in the future? Like instead of compact storage: 9x limestone = 1x marble stone or something, or 4x limestone = 1x marble stone.
After looking it up myself to answer the above post, then scrolling down and going :/ Darn, I was thinking about doing bonemeal>Sand>Bucket of water. But I like your idea more, I'll credit you and add it to op and see if I can get it going.
Thanks BeastGamer, :biggrin.gif:, Great suggestion well thought out and easy to read, have a Notch :Notch:.
My only problem is that part of the recipe seems repetitive, so you have these blocks and you turn them into chucks, from there couldn't you turn them into titles? Tiles and bricks are quite different, but I'll think on this.

Alright, give me 2 hours and I'll spit out a new release of Limestone Mod it's going to be changed big time :biggrin.gif:.
@Beast Gamer: Could you do a marble texture as well, credits will be given. Limestone one you did was great. If you're interested in doing anymore let me know because I wont be able to match up to that.

Done all of it. Re-read my post
Wow! Thank you, I'll be using these in a moment. for you.
Something things you should know before you continue:
1. This mod requires ModLoader viewtopic.php?f=25&t=80246
2. This is my first mod :smile.gif:
3. This was originally requested here: viewtopic.php?f=1033&t=347632
4. Big thanks to BeastGamer for the Textures :biggrin.gif:
I will not be updating the mod in till 1.6.6 is release. Thanks for your understanding
CONTENT!
Limestone Blob: The first thing you will be able to craft, Limestone blobs are the result of using bones and sandstone in water.
Limestone Brick: The next step in the process is to make one of these, simply smelt the Limestone Blobs you've made.
Limestone: The big guy himself, limestone, a very practical resource. One can make limestone with four limestone bricks.
Marble: Marble has been used for ages in buildings. It's shiny and awesome, what more could you want?
(Going to change so there's a lava bucket in the middle, crap I just noticed this O_o Ah well I'll fix it next time)
Marble Chunks: When you place marble then pick it back up, it drops marble chunks instead of the actual marble... Damn.
Marble Brick: Heavy marble bricks, commonly used in building. What will you do with yours?
UPCOMING CONTENT!
Marble Tiles: Perfect for your kitchen counter top, or floor... or ceiling.
Quicklime: Amazingly useful product of Limestone.
Slaked Lime: Good for making sticky things...Hmmm
Limelight: Originally was a type of lighting used in theater.
Mortar: No, not the weapon, the compound used in construction.
Carvings:Similar to paintings, but the images are en-carved/ painted on.
Redstone Holder: Self Explanatory
Cupboards/ Cabinets: A different way to store your items!

I am aware of that, I asked at the end of the post. Could you? Or do you know someone who possibly could?

This is what limestone looks like.
Not a green block.

:biggrin.gif: Thank you kind sir
Limestone is made of highly compressed sediments (a build up of pulverized bones and other minerals).
The recipe if anything should be sandstone, bonemeal, and water to make a smeltable blob (which when smelted turns into limestone bricks).
From there, crafting limestone bricks with a bucket of lava:
Should produce a marble block.
This should be able to be mined into marble chunks (8 to 10 pieces), then crafted into marble bricks by:

From there, you would make marble tiles:

They would be half blocks, but each block would be tiled, like this: http://www.northlandconstruction.com/products/1904/orig/07-4203.jpg
This would be a massive turning point for MineCraft home renovation.
Someone should add cupboards for storing food.
