As you may (or may not) know, I've been working on a 32x pack. I decided to take a break from that and go back to my roots as it were and do a simple 16x pack. Of course my definition of simple is probably a bit above what people round these parts have come to expect from the word.
Enough of me babbling like a moron. Here is what you really want to see: Minecraft rendered as if it was a toy suitable for your toddler.
Holy poopers! I normally don't like texture packs like these where it's obvious where one block starts/ends, but this is an exception. Reminds me of SNES graphics too, particularly Super Mario All-stars. Must be the colours.
Awesome job dude.
This is both cute AND gorgeous.
I'm a big fan of the soft, blended textures, and with that you've done a fine job.
Love to see where this pack goes when it's fully complete. (Balloon Animal Tools and Toy Weapons? I think YES.)
While I was in a texturing mood from updating my other packs to 1.5 I swung by this one again.
I've added a bunch more to it leaving only a handful of the original textures.
I think I need to make the gravel not blue, it looks too much like snow or something.
Edit: I went ahead and made it a darker slate color. It still shows up well underground but it no longer looks like ice on the surface.

General world shot
Cold biome with snow and pine trees

I have the various crafting and storage blocks now.

The terrain.png is now mostly done.
Figured I have sufficient complete that it should be safe to let folks have a better look in-game.
