In case you don't know what ToD (Time of Day)screenshots are, they're basically screenshots taken in an edited version of the original game, made by either messing with the settings(ie. using mods such as wild grass, better light/ grass, FoD, etc.), using texture packs, or editing the desired screenshot in a program such as a Photoshop. Basically a screenshot that stands out amongst others due to its unique traits.
I know this is a term specific to Crysis, but hell, for the sake of this thread we'll refer to them as ToD screenshots. (unless you know a better term :P)
It's sad that not that many people take their time to appreciate screenshots or actually take good screenshots. You'd often see someone take a screenshot with their window minimized due to them not knowing how to properly take a screenshot or simply not caring how it looks. (remember F1 removes the GUI and F2 takes a screenshot)
This thread is for those people who do want to take their time and create something unique from something as simple as a screenshot. So go find and capture that perfect moment and share it with us.
Here's a few examples of what we can refer to as ToD art. Do not be fooled, this is not Crysis nor any other eye candy game you're looking at.
And even something a bit more creative (I know the 2nd one isn't a screenshot :P)
I'm flattered that you included a screenshot that I took and posted a while back
9th one down.
Kudos Lilyo
This one?
That was actually one of the first screenshots I found haha. I love it.
Did you happen to have edited it in Photoshop or another program? The fog seems to be a bit too perfect
Those cave shots with the huge waterfall look pretty sweet. I like these too. Though most people on the forums post to show off thier creations, not for photographic art. Perhaps you could start a new trend: MC articstic photography. :smile.gif:

So, yeah. Minecraft is kind of like walking into a high-class auction with top security and a solid reputation only to find out that everyone else in the room is a mugger. Who explodes.

You can showcase your creations with photographic art
I love screenshot art! Particularly when it's Minecraft related.
Unfortunately these are the only 2 screenshot's I have at all on my current computer :/ I'll definitely post some better one's up when I can get to my usual computer.
I'm just gonna leave these here, my own creations:
Also, would you believe that other than the lens flare, everything (the contrast and warm colors) in the first photo I created in-game by adding a different photoshop curve to my painterly pack! If you want, I can upload that too, but it'll be with the default pack.

I like them. Great work!

I already have something like this started, but this makes me want to finish it.
Epic pictures all around.
