The suggestion: a block that changes the material when it receivies a red stone signal. It would be like like a chest with two slots, where you could put any block or a bucket with lava or water. If you put a bucket it will change to a still block of the bucket content. This would make it possible to do lava doors, traps, self destructing fortress, etc.
You could use it too display information, changing some blocks to a darker material depending on the input.
You could switch a entire fortress from obsidian to glass when stepping on a button.
You could do a trap that fills a room with lava if a button is pressed.
I think the possibilities of this feature combined with compressed logic boards would allow fortress and mechanisms a lot more complex.
What do you think?
The first screenshot is the menu that comes up on right click.
The second is the mutable block off and the third is it being activated by the pressure plate.
In this example I used sand and dirt, but a bucket of water could have been used instead o dirt to change the block into a water spring and so on.
Please give your opinion on the idea :smile.gif: :smile.gif:

Congratulation.
Did it take you 11 years to complete the mod or did you spontaneously dicide to just do it?
My projects:

For now i'm working on a private modpack that suit's my own playstyle.
I am gonna stay in modded 1.12.2 untill my potato dies. No mercy! :Q
I just decided to do it. Better late than never.
