We could take the current dyes add them to a bucket of water and get paint.
Then add the paint and either, wooden stairs or planks, to get a colored version of them. Maybe even stone and cobblestone?
And Chickens! And sheep, that after you dye them they keep producing wool of that color, lol, that'd be cute.
Rainbow sheeps ftw!

What an interesting Profile picture. Srsly. :|
Like te paint suggestion, but instead of individually adding the paint on the crafting table, why not add it to the surface of blocks as a flat layer much like grass is to dirt.

If you added paint only to the top, like grass is to dirt, then you couldn't paint the inside of a house, in fact, you could only paint floors. Which is usually the only thing no one ever paints.
Well, I think it's beautiful, and so i took it and made it into an avatar.
Sure, i could have made a skeleton or a zombie, but I'd much rather look at what I have now :tongue.gif:
You should see the higher def version I have as a desktop =) woot
I like this idea, but it would work better if it was like paintings, a block that doesnt count as a block. I mean, having a thin layer of paint on the side of things.
i was on the fence about application, should it be like a painting, or should it be like a block that is Hued?
Though, being like a painting would prolly be the best, like a 1x1 painting that you could see through maybe?
what about that die would become paint if you put it on a paintbrush and it would give you 4 uses for 1 piece of dye. This could be stackable on the crafting table(meaning that if you put up to 4 pieces of dye on a paintbrush it would give 16.paint bushes would be crafted like this:

To whichever whiney ***** that complained to the mods about my avatar, probably because you're a sad little mongoloid that hasn't been touched by anyone in so long a time that you have a hatred for anything other than the smell of your own feces, bite me.
edit - My OLD Avatar, the one with a girl in a bathing suit *GASPS*

Haha lol. You can be assured it wasn't me :smile.gif:
But then again, your new picture is just..well..charming :smile.gif:
Well i can't have an avatar which is pleasant and beautiful to look at, so i will use an avatar which will make them long for the days i had cuties in swimsuits.
Hey, did you see my thread about armor, quests and skills?
I should do like you and put my threads in my sig.
The only part that I understood was the water with dye. Im not saying it doesnt make sence, but I just dont get it :tongue.gif:
k, so, you'd go get a yellow flower, and then squish it and make yellow dye
instead of adding it to wool to make yellow wool, you'd add it to water to make yellow paint
then you could use the yellow paint bucket on a block to paint that surface yellow
