this is the same thing i have been doing except for the unarchiver app so its not that complicated

I got an easier way;  first, type this into the Terminal:

cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar

That will create a folder called "mctmp", put all .class files in there
then type:

rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
jar uf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
cd ..
rm -rf mctmp

boom, your done.
(you can just copy-pasta it)
