Thanks for clicking the post, This video will entertain you for the next 30 to 40 seconds.  I will do more (and get them out in a more timely manner) if this one is a success.

Really good and well rendered movie! Which programs did you use while makin' it? How did this idea come up to your head? :D

I used 3D studio for most of it.  I also used Mineways to export part of a map from Minecraft.  As for the idea ... well, its been around the block a few times now.  This is just my take on it.

I have a new animation.  It's sort of a suggestion to Jeb I suppose:

Could you link me to the site for the program you used? I can't quite find a match for the search query "3D Studio" as you mentioned before. I found 3DS max, is that the right one? Thanks in advance! Id really like to get as good as you in animating :)

Hey, fun to see - I like seeing Mineways get used (I'm the author). If you have any tips on importing Mineways output into 3DS MAX, please let me know and I'll add them here. Even though I work for Autodesk (and my software gets used in MAX), I haven't done much to figure out the best way to setup MAX for importing Mineways' OBJ files.

Eric

p.s. to EnigmaticMiner: yes, "3DS MAX" is the 'new' name for "3D Studio".
