Do you use a lot of mods with ModLoader? Is your control list so long you need to resize your window and get around the "done" button to adjust everything? Well, after looking for a solution, I finally just made one.
My mod utilizes the same code the world select GUI and the server select GUI uses to provide you with an expandable list of controls. Changing the controls is the same as it was before: select a control and press the keyboard or mouse button you want to use. If there's a conflict, the conflicting mappings turn red, each tells you which one it conflicts with, and a message appears above the done button.
Thanks. I'm glad that someone enjoys the work I put into this :smile.gif:. I want to keep this open for constructive criticism, so if you have any suggestions or comments on your experience with this, feel free to tell me.
Wow, I can't believe I didn't see that one :tongue.gif:. He did what I initially thought to do but realized would be a pain to implement (the author of that mod even said he had to make a new class for the scrolling :tongue.gif:). I may not upkeep this one if there's another, but I'll still wait and see what people think of ours (and our differences).
Still useful though, good work for your first mod.
Well, technically this is my second. However, my first one (CreativeKill) wasn't really a stretch as it was mostly about adding an if statement in a couple of places :tongue.gif:. This was my first experience with GUI, and it turned out pretty good :smile.gif:.
Thanks for this amazing control fix! When I first installed the zeppelin mod on my comp. I was ticked that it's essential controls were blocked by the "Done" button. This helped me more than I can say, and will continue to help the more mods I install. Thanks a million!
Yea i've been using scrollable controls..i don't see a reason to switch as its compatible with everything. Reason you probably never found it is because the search feature on MC forums sucks

Installation is the same as any other mod. If you don't know how, I'd recommend using mcpatcher. Look on the page for "Installing other mods."

Be proud.
(i'm using MCpatcher)
Nope.
Please update this. I would like this as opposed to the other ones.
Forge API adds something like this. You can use that in the mean time.
Forget that! Update it to 1.4.5!
