Hello, I was wondering if there is a program that works like MCSkin3D, but for textures instead. I know I can use photoshop, but I thought a program designed for texture packs would make life a lot easier.

I saw one on the Wiki.  Minecraft Texture Editor , or something like it.  It was in the 3rd Party Tools I think.

That only allows you to combine existing packs. It doesn't help you in making a new one. It's basically worthless since everything that it does can just as easily be done with basic knowledge of your operating system and/or archive management software.

On top of that, if you don't have permission to use the textures you are mixing together with that tool, you cant publish the pack.
In a sense, it don't 'make' a pack, it 'takes other existing packs and mix's them'. I'm shocked it's still on PMC >.>

but yes, this topics been necroed to death and back.
