Lost in Minecraft
Who are we?
Lost in Minecraft is an upcoming cinematic series about the survivors of the crash of Flight 627 trying to find their way around the somewhat strange island they crashed upon. The idea of Lost in Minecraft was created by Joshua Slik, also known as IJoshFTW on YouTube. The first two episodes were shot, edited and uploaded, then the series took a break because of one of the lead actors and Joshua had to focus on school. Big Minecraft updates started coming out at rapid speed, including tools and areas that would have been useful to have had when they shot the first few episodes. So Joshua decided to completely overhaul the series, throw away the script and try to get a more professional and bigger crew than last time.Lost in Minecraft's goal is to entertain the viewer, show them how to craft certain items, what you should do in the early stages of the game, while teaching them basic skills that will help you survive without any modern equipment.

Position requirements
Requirements for all positions- You'll need to have a microphone.
- You'll need to have the communication software Skype.
- You'll need to be 15 years of age or older.
- You'll need to be able to speak English well.
- You'll need to be willing to tell us your Skype account name and email address.
- You'll need to be willing to answer a couple of questions in an interview.
- You'll need to have pancake mix.
Builder
- You'll need to have an own, registered and legal Minecraft account.
- You'll need to have created something already and be able to show us.
- You'll need to be able to create any style and type of building or set.
- You'll need to be able to create (better than) decent buildings, not ugly dirt shacks.
- You'll need to be able to design your own buildings too, not only be able to recreate a picture.
- You'll need to be familliar with and able to use the Bukkit World Edit-plugin.
Voice actor
- You'll need to have a good quality microphone.
- You'll need to be able to talk English, preferably without a natural accent (You'll have a lower chance to be accepted with a natural accent)
NOTE: This is regarding a natural accent if English is not your native language, not an accent you can reproduce. - You'll need to be able to do a recording session on Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00 and 22:00 GMT +1.
NOTE: Of course, exceptions can be discussed, but please let us know as soon as you'll be able to contact us about your absence. - Being able to produce different voices and reproduce accents is highly reccomended.
Character controller
- You'll need to have an own, registered and legal Minecraft account.
- You'll need to be able to follow written and spoken orders.
- You'll need to be able to do a recording session on Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00 and 22:00 GMT +1.
NOTE: Of course, exceptions can be discussed, but please let us know as soon as you'll be able to contact us about your absence. - You'll need to have a computer that can run Minecraft without consistant lag.
- You'll need to have a fast and steady internet connection.
- A large monitor is reccomended, as you'll need to run Minecraft and the script next to eachother.
Graphical designer
- You'll need to have created something already and be able to show us.
- You'll need to be able to create an image using a description or from scratch.
- You may [u]never copy someone else's work.
Skin and Texture artist
NOTE: This is one position, not two seperate.
- You'll need to have created something already and be able to show us.
- You'll need to be able to create a skin or block texture using a description or from scratch.
- You'll need to be able to create block textures in a same style or theme.
- You may [u]never copy someone else's work.
