I've created a server, I want to play with my step brother in the other room.
The Minecraft Wiki said that I could just connect with our internal ip address. I can connect on this computer just fine, either by using 'localhost' or my internal ip, but if he uses the internal ip he can't join.
MINECRAFT WIKI IS TROLLING ME! jokes, but I'm not very good with technology, please help and explain to me what I've done wrong in a language I understand.
We're both using macs too if that helps.

Probably a firewall issue. Either on your server computer, or on your Airport or however you connect together.
