How do I fix the white spider in my texture pack?

I am making a texture pack and have come across a problem. When I try to edit the spider and cave spider they appear white in Minecraft as shown in the picture. Please help if you can. Thank you!

I have the same problem. I believe it has something to do with the separate eye texture, though.

I think you might be right. When i reset the separate eye texture to the default, then the white on the face goes away.

You can fix it by filling the transparent parts of the eye texture with black. The glow textures don't need the transparency, because they are rendered additively.
