So i mostly notice how some people complain about the End. I really have no problem with the End and it's content. but the people who complain about the End are like"Z0MG TH3 3ND SUX B3CUZ IT RU1NS 5ANDB0X!!1 LOLOLOLL U N00BZ" (not really, people aren't that stupid when argumenting) and what they say really bugs me because the End DOESN'T ruin the sanbox, since when you beat it you return to normal gameplay. Also the end is completly optional, so i don't see why people complain about it. i notice the End lacks some features too, but still, i don't think Mojang is going to leave the End as it is, im fairily sure they will improve. also some people think the End has no point/meaning, it must have a deep meaning, just that we can understand it.
also if somebody has done this thread before don't yell at me "YO THERES ALREDY A THREAD LIKE THIS, REPORTING" please, thank you.

Maybe people hate The End so much because it doesn't have much to it. It's meant to be lonely and barren, a sad landscape with nothing but Endermen scattering the ground. They also probably hate how you can't go back to the normal world until you die or defeat the boss. But like you said, they DO have a choice to go to The End or not.

I don't mind the end as optional being, but if I have to give my opinion about it then wel... I just think it sucks.
It's way too empty, I can understand that since the main point is about the boss fight but the boss fight isn't very good, it's just; destroy boxes, attack dragon.
No variety it's just boring, the endermen aren't really an issue as long as you are wearing a pumpkin.
I think it's a rushed feature.

I don't really mind the end. I think the ending of the game is amusing and well done, but also that having a way to "beat" Minecraft seems a little out of place. Granted, you get sent back to the world to continue to build after, but it still seems a little odd to have an "ending" at all. My only other qualm with the end is that I would rather they had spent time adding more blocks mobs and mechanics (hinges for one would be sweet). Other than that there's really nothing wrong with the end, in my opinion. Just my two cents though.

Most people don't like the end because it's not the aether and that's it. Personally I think the end is empty but not that bad

The only reason I dislike the End is because it took dev time that could've been used on better things.
No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...

I dont see any reason for 2 hells. And what I really hate, is ENDING! Not the ender world itself, but the fact there is ending.
