Hangable Maps

Hang your maps on walls or lay them on a table, right click with a map in your hand on a surface to place it. Hit a hung map to remove it. You can also duplicate your existing maps with the recipe below.

When maps are crafted they no longer have you in the middle of the map, it snaps to the nearest 1024 x,z co-ordinate. This makes it easy to tile your maps together to make larger maps. However you can disable this in the config file. Map tooltips will also display the map number.

Now works with SMP, provided the server has the mod installed.

Extract contents to your minecraft.jar.

Download Server Hangable Maps v1.1 for minecraft server 1.1:

SDK was working on something like this WAAAAY before you released this. I hope SDK releases his, but for now i'll stick with this one.

Oops, getting an error.

I've got modloader, modloaderMP, forge,optifine, morecreative and this installed through magiclauncher. This is a map placed on a wall.

I would have thought it would render the texture pack's map. I'll have a look and report back.

Nope, not the texture pack's fault. Also, It's disappearing when I log back in. Probably a fault with magic launcher.

So, I'll blame this on Magic Launcher. Not gonna mess around trying to fix it, I'll just leave it. Hell, I downloaded through adf.ly, so it's still a win for you. No worries.

EDIT - if omen doesn't use ML then this may be something you have to look into.

Must be this magic launcher, not used it before. I've installed it the usual way of copying the files into minecraft.jar, and it works fine with painterly pack.

Any possibility for SMP support in the future with ModloaderMP? This would be perfect in multiplayer.

This is really nice. Would it be possible for you to remove the "Map_x" watermark? Its the only thing that puts me off.

P.S Able to place them down on blocks, like a map table would be very nice.

Btw, the only mods I was using were. modloader, modloadermp, forge, and audiomod.
