The village so far. At the moment there is only a house (on the left) and an inn (on the right).

Front porch, with balcony and rocking chairs.
Back of the house.
The ground floor, with eating area and fireplace.
Upstairs in the bedroom. The thing on the left is a wardrobe (made from stairs) and there's a nice writing desk on the right.
Steelfeathers, this is pretty cool, I must say. The exterior looks really nice; there are just two things that I would personally change: One, you use a very shallow mansard roof for the front balcony, which I would personally not use, but instead put a small gable roof there to act as a cover for the front porch. Secondly, you have a line of cobble near the base of the top gable roof, which seems to really stick out, and looks a bit odd in my opinion. I would personally change it to the same darker timber you used for the framework.
But overall, awesome job on the house, and I love your texture packs, Enchanted, and your new one that'll be ready for release soon, I hope!

Ah, I see what you mean now about the cobble. But I'm not sure I want to use more pine logs there- I'm a big fan of color/texture variation.
And I gabled roof would look nice, but then I wouldn't be able to have a balcony. Oh well, difference in building styles, I suppose. :smile.gif:

Texture variation is a nice thing to play around with it. In my opinion, it's a little off in that one spot, but everywhere else, I like the blending!
Difference indeed! From the side, now I look at it, that balcony looks good. If you want a balcony there, I might suggest making it a bit bigger and adding more defined pillars at the base of the balcony. Then it might look less hat-like from the front! Take it with a grain of salt though; you have my respect, mate!

Ah, if only we were able to have variable fence post thickness!
I like the inn! The cobblestone seems to work there; maybe because it's kind of at the base, rather than at the top of something? I'm not sure, but it's cool. But it appears your recessive roofs don't extend all the way down?
Texturepack is Feathercraft, made by me. Check it out here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/947728-16x11feathercraft-wip/

...who? Sorry, I don't hang out in the screenshot community much. :tongue.gif:
paulsoaresjr is a guy from youtube that does Minecraft videos.
OT: That's a nice house. I like the outside of the second floor. Looks cool with the birch and pine together.
Sure, let me grab some more pics...
Thanks! I didn't really like to build with birch until just yesterday, when I needed a white material besides white wool. :tongue.gif:
