If you don't know, OnLive just released their new "OnLive Desktop" app for iPad. It works so seamlessly. There is no web browser, but I was thinking of the possibility of playing minecraft from a service like this one. Even if it only let's you connect to servers. Does anyone know of an existing cloud desktop service that allows for this? I could definitely see this technology going somewhere.

but the app im talking aout doesnt connect to your home PC,, it connects to a fully touch opttimized windows 7 cloud server. This looks like u still need a computer that u own to be running the game.

i would mainly use it to connect to servers, since its not your own physical computer, you cant keep ypur worlds there. But this app DOES have a filesync feature, so who knows?

I was curious about this as well... I downloaded this the other day... Looks sweet. The pro version of this (a paid subscription :( ) allows for internet browsing with flash... and potentially downloads? Does anyone know if Minecraft will run via Onlive Desktop on iPad?

I did this on my ipod with another app, but the screen was too laggy and it was too hard to control.

I don't know why these people know how to make a awesome laptop fit in your pocket, but they won't make a ipad run java. With the technology they have, they should put it to use with things we want. Really.
I admit im a techy geek....how 'bout you?
