I don't think there should be any conflicts with those mods . Till Minecraft gets updated Im playing around with getting as many mods to work at once without issues . Currently , I am running this fairy mod , phosphorous caverns , all 7 of pams mods , TMI , Millenaire , Mo' Creatures , Teh'Krushs squirrel mod , The Butterfly mod , Garden Craft , Blood mod , Zombie Dismemberment , Fireworks mod , Clay soldiers , Better Dungeons , the Seasons Mod and Optifine....
Amazingly my minecraft hasn't exploded and it all runs without having changed any ID's or anything yet...I'm trying to find something else to jam in there and see how far it can go lol

lol , looks like I am a far ways off in my quest to jam as many mods into my minecraft as possible before it explodes! and I have been eying some of the mods you listed like Chococraft and twilight forest... hmm guess I have more things to download and fiddle with...
Maybe the new feature was so powerful , it usurped Kodaichi and the next post will be from Queen Winky Bird about their new peoples mod!

Well we have to make a decision about that. Right now, when you tell a fairy to sit, it does the same thing that dogs do - makes them stay completely still in one spot and stops them from following you. If we want fairies to be able to get up and sit down by themselves, that would be kind of contradictory, wouldn't it? If you tell a fairy to sit, it's not supposed to just get up and walk away whenever it feels like. If you can come up with something that makes sense, then sure. The only possible way I think it could work out is if you lose the ability to make a fairy sit when she's at a post. It's up to you guys to choose if you want that or not.

It's because you're not logging in. You HAVE to log in or else you start off the game with a randomly generated username each time. Fairies are bound to usernames. So if your username changes, the fairy won't recognize you.

It's time for an...
IN-DEVELOPMENT SNEAK PEEK!
Today's feature brings us something that really separates fairies from other similar mythical beings. The Colonization update will have your fairies taking up tools and doing various chores and activities that will make them almost as useful as the dudes from MineColony. But there's one little exception: fairies can't (and won't) become miners. Why's that? Well, allow me to explain:

The Withering System is a new addition to the Fairy Factions mod. Fairies, as you probably already know, enjoy sunlight. In fact, sunlight is very important to them because they need at least a little bit of light shining on them at all times in order to stay healthy. If a fairy is kept in total or near-total darkness for more than a whole minute, she will develop a health condition known as withering. The first indication of withering is that the fairy's skin and hair will become pale and greyish, and puffs of green smoke will come out of her body. The fairy will also be affected in other ways: She won't be able to run or fly as quickly as before, and she also won't be able to carry you as high when you fly with her. Most importantly, her health will drain constantly at a slow rate until it sits at just above half a heart - so any source of damage will kill her instantly. Healing her at this point is pretty much useless because her health will quickly go right back down to half a heart. Fortunately, there is a cure: sunlight. All you have to do to cure a withered fairy is expose her to the sky during the day and she will be instantly cured, but her health will stay at whatever it was, so she'll most likely need a snack right away.
- The fairy in the above picture is in a place too bright for it to become withered.
- A fairy must stay within a light level of 0 or 1 for a whole minute to become withered. (pitch black or one level above)
- Withering drains your fairy's health and makes her weaker, but will not kill her.
- Moonlight is bright enough to prevent the withering effect from happening.
- If monsters can't spawn in your house, then fairies won't wither in it either.
- A withered fairy can't be cured by anything except direct sunlight.
- Withered fairies don't drop glowstone dust when they die - instead they drop rotten flesh.
- So don't ask for fairy miners. Because they'll just get sick anyway.
Oh, also: the first secret fairy is going to be immune to withering.
And that's all for this sneak peek! Stay tuned for more!

It would be even funnier , well at least to me , if the fairies stayed withered for to long they turned into zombie fairies and attack you...or if when withered they get killed they then turn into the zombie fairies . Maybe not zombies , but they instead turn into an evil/demonic version of the former fairy . That would be kind of cool , but yeah .
Also , the thing with the fishing on lillypads would be nice , but with the whole sitting thing , it seems like to much of a hassle that would lead to many other issues . So , while a cool idea , seems to be not worth the effort and problems just for a minor albeit cute addition...

Uh, are you seriously asking me to make your own companions go evil and try to kill you when you leave them in the dark...? I'm not saying that's a bad idea, but I don't think many people would enjoy that... :S
I guess a good idea would be to make it an option somehow.
Option withered = "1" by default.
0 = no withering
1 = normal withering
2 = turn evil when withered
I guess it could work out. Options are always a nice thing. I just need to learn how to properly use property files.
EDIT: And the guy above you seems to support the same idea. Huh. I'll probably be getting even more soon.
EDI2: Just watched another video on youtube of people failing to tame fairies because they don't understand how the mourning phase works. I'm going to nerf it significantly so the waiting period is reduced and fairies won't run away from you at that time either. Also I'll add a message prompt saying why their taming attempts are failing, so people don't look like idiots rapidly clicking a fairy with a melon to no avail.
e.g.:
->You can't tame this queen until you defeat all her comrades.
->You can't tame this queen because she's currently owned by "Username"
->You can't tame this fairy right now because she's trying to kill you.
