'Transparent' texture pack that enables seeing through walls!

This texture pack is a modification to the original Minecraft texture pack. The point is to enable seeing through walls. In doing this, you are able to detect caves much easier than simply mining. To most, this may be a game spoiler, so please pass this on if you feel it will spoil the game for you.

Unfortunately, you cannot see ores unless they appear on the wall of a cave. Half way through the video, I meet some diamond randomly. That is because the ores are not visible since they are completely surrounded, but it's still easy to spot ores from the walls of caves, since they are solid unlike normal stone.

Actually, this type of texture pack has been made several times (I found one off the Intertubes months and months ago) but thank you for being gracious in realizing beforehand that you might not have been first. You just wanted to share what you had done and found useful. That is modding and texture-making.

This is extremely old. Search "X Ray" in this forum and you'll find a mod that does the same thing (without editing textures).

This is interesting, but wouldn't it be easier to just use the x-ray mod, since there you can switch back to normal texture as well.
