32 bit or 64 bit? Mac? Windows? All of this determines what the bat file should be. I assume windows because it's a bat file but 32 or 64?

Use

@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
"%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar BUKKIT.jar
PAUSE
for 64 bit
and

@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
"%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar BUKKIT.jar
PAUSE
for 32 bit

Make sure your bukkit jar file is named "BUKKIT.jar" when you use this.

Is mine wrong? This is what's running my server.

@ECHO OFF
IF /I "%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE:~-2%"=="64"  java -Xms3G -Xmx4G -jar "craftbukkit-1.1-R1-SNAPSHOT.jar"
IF /I "%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE:~-2%"=="86"  java -Xincgc -Xmx4024M -jar "craftbukkit-1.1-R1-SNAPSHOT.jar"

HOT.jar"

People tailor bat files to their use, it is like a suit, there is a general outline, and then it is fitted to what you want and need. What we provide are the outlines, from there, people change theirs. Like i just use java instead of paths to the jre since I know it works on my machine. Some people can't do that so that is where other bat files are used. It is all about the machine.

Is there another server running on the computer?
It's better to try and fail than fail to try.
