This tools work great i just have one thing like on picture optifine as at bottum on the Mods and than optifine works but whene i move it up the list and put it under ModLoaderMp 1.0.0 than optifine options show but do nothing at all. Why is that?
OptiFine has to be installed after Forge.

A problem appears if you want to add mods wich comes in a .zip file, but the .class files are in directories within the .zip file. For example: zombe's modpack. its a .zip with 3 folders; classes src and config.

Here I have to extract the classes and then make a new archive and put the classes in it and then add it to the launcher.

Please fix this somehow :) With MCPatcher I could just add a .zip file then select wich directories and files I wanted to have in my minecraft.jar.

Be sure you open it with Java.

Have been, forgot to mention it in the op.

I am using java 7, using a 100% fresh minecraft folder, and it's not working. I have it to where it opens with "Java™ Platform SE binary" which i believe is the default java.

EDIT: Seems to be giving me an error saying
Error: Could not find or load main class C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\New folder\MagicLauncher_0.8.5.jar

Getting this error makes me understand that i'm doing something wrong somehow. I'm not sure how but if somebody knows let me know. :D

I am unable to create a new configuration. Can you please add that to your TODO?

The buttons and functions for it is there, but not the actual feature. Don't you think he's gonna add it?

When you are in Setup, and pressing Add to add a mod to the Mods section, can you make it automatically go you the .minecraft/mods/ directory? And possible create the mods/ folder if it doesn't exist.

Perhaps even mods/ then a subdir like the version number;
mods/1.0.0
mods/1.1

Another thing that would be pretty nice, is if you just let the file name of the launcher to be MagicLauncher.jar. I use a bash script to run the file, and if you update I have to update my bash file every time. The version number is showing up in the launcher itself already.

This is awesome. As expected another great work from Sp614x. I just wish it was an exe so I could smack it onto my taskbar so being pinned on my start menu will have to do for now =P

I'm assuming mod conflicts aren't accounted for, since you're checking mod compatibility on start up.. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Just checking to be sure.

I have 64-bit Java installed, and I'm still getting the heap size error:

Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Could not create the Java virtual machine.

How do I point this to use the right Java?

EDIT: Actually, it seems like any value higher than 1024 will cause Java to either not run at all, or freeze shortly after starting. This is Java 6-30, Minecraft 1.0.0 with Optifine 1.0.0 multicore.

It's how much RAM you want allocated to minecraft. How much RAM you want Minecraft to be able to use. 1024MB is about 1GB.

First of all, very good idea! This is what the community (and I^^; ) needed!

But here's my problem: When I add "Spawner GUI 1.1" I get 2 errors:
MagicLauncher 0.8.5
Missing class member: public (ILjava/util/Random;I)I a, class: cg, mod: Spawner GUI.zip
Missing class member: public (Ljava/util/Random;)I a, class: cg, mod: Spawner GUI.zip

Before I added the Spawner GUI, I added ModLoader, AudioMod, Shelf and Recipe Book. I get the error with the vanilla version and with the version patched with MCPatcher.
