I accidently deleted a few things in minecraft 7 zip, and I can't get the mod to work. Any ideas on how to fix this dilemma?

Maybe just start from scratch again. Like putting the mods in again with a new minecraft.jar.

I like the idea, but do I delete the whole minecraft folder? Or only a few things?

You mean the minecraft.jar? just delete /bin and run minecraft again. This will cause minecraft to install the files new. It will also delete any thing the mod has installed... there is no other way to fix it.

I would just delete the minecraft folder and then start minecraft so it will make the folder again. But make sure you have your saves in a backup folder. Check on youtube if you don't know how to make a backup folder.

OK. I'll try that. Thank you Stykker.

Where do I place the stuff you get when you download tmi, though?

delete the .minecraft folder, run minecraft, it reinstalls without mods

It is an archiver that can move/open files that you usually wouldn't be able to. It is the equivalent of WinRAR.
