I was just wandering if there is a possiblilty for minecraft pocket edition would have mods

Maybe eventually... So far I'm pretty sure there are no mods for MC:PE.

It's possible to mod GTA III for iOS without a jailbreak so I guess it won't be long till someone mods Minecraft : PE

If you mean by "MODS" you actually mean "add-ons"
I would say that "add-ons" will actually be published by Mojang, and you can download them for Pocket Edition free, but I don't think you could have a custom player add-on.

There is a player data that you replace with the one in your world folder and it gives you Water Lava And ice and it easily reversible just choose other stuff i dont know if you could count that as a mod though.

Without having a jailbroken iPod, I don't think it'll happen quite yet. Maybe eventually.

What?  

He means Mods.  Haven't you even played Minecraft, or been on these forums for that matter?  
Because 'Mods' and 'Mods' are pretty common words thrown around in these forums, or in the Mapping and Modding section at least.

He means Game Modifications that are often, if not always made by the game's community.  I'm pretty sure if Mojang ever made any Add-ons, he would have said Add-ons.

Please at least know what the op is talking about before trying to change the op's words.

It seems he is looking for more to enjoy in the pocket edition.
There is an expected update or "add-on" planned to take
Place the 8th of this month. This will add mobs, items,
Crafting, etc. This is basically the first attempt at making PE

That will be a MC:PE update but not a mod.
He asked about mods. You know, those player added stuff, there's also a subforum for mods in this forum, but it's for PC Minecraft

I was thinking Minecraft pocket edition mods would just be something like a folder with a text file and textures and such inside that you place in the applications documents.

there are a few mods out there for pocket edition. they are just hard to find. theres the tnt water and lava mod and such

The only mod is the 7 item slot mod for PE, you can just hex those extra blocks in (TNT, water, lava, etc.)

You cannot mod yet but you can put in texture packs without jailbreak.

I've only seen 2 wich are
7 item slot and smooth lighting and strictly speaking there unlocks as. Mojang have already created the stuff the peraon who does it just adds onto the class diles and stuff to make it acsesible (excuse  my spelling)
