I noticed the first on Notch's twitter feed, the second on reddit. Google's autocomplete feature gives the most popular search terms for a combination of letters typed in. Passing it on, for your bemusement:

Remember that google also remembers your search history (on their own servers, not your HDD) and they tailor the results to what they think is most relevant to you.

I just tested this on a "clean" account (i.e. fresh Firefox profile, and going through a proxy in a different country, so different source IP), and this also puts the word of Notch above the word of God, and minecraft above microsoft :-)

Lulul... just had my GF do this and it showed as you stated :D. Guess God just doesn't compare to Notch when it comes to Google.
