It might actually work, don't give up!





EDIT: THANK YOU NOTCH! Notch has added cats, Ocelots and kittens. That made it a lot easier.

The other one died, which is sad, but I'm learning java right now and I hope to start it up again!
I'll probably leave stuff like Tigerstar's ghost out of it, though, because it's really unrealistic, and Warriors is, well, you wouldn't find evil ghosts lurking around, killing you with a touch, yet if you kill it, it drops something useless to cats, would you?
Straight to the ideas:

If you die, you'll respawn in a cloudy place. This will be Starclan. You CAN get out of starclan, but you'll be a spirit.
If you have killed another cat, however, you'll respawn in a nether-like place. This is The Place Of No Stars. You're stuck in there for a long time.

You'll have a lot of health, so you're very hardy as a cat, like the books say. You can take a lot of blows without getting seriously injured. You can also ally with other clans, but this is breaking the warrior code, so if you do anything too bad, the next time you die, you're not sent to Starclan.

You have additional stats. There is a random chance of being born to a clan.

*THUNDERCLAN STATS*
Hardy
Strong
Take a lot more damage


*RIVERCLAN STATS*
Swim twice as fast
Can fish with claws
A bit easier to kill than Thunderclan, still hard


*WINDCLAN STATS*
Sprint for twice as long
Sprint twice as fast
Run generally faster


*SHADOWCLAN STATS*
Can stalk a lot easier
Hard to kill
Can take out clans (They always come back though)

*SKYCLAN STATS*
Can jump higher than normal cats
Some don't really like StarClan too much...

Bear in mind that I still need modders, even though I'm learning.

EDIT: Awwww yeah! Finished the "crow" (Chicken) texture!

EDIT: Ok ok shadowclan isn't evil. Especially when I found out that if I was a warrior I'd be Lepoardstorm of ShadowClan.

Ok, I went for a while, and completely forgot about this.

FRESH KILL PILE: Idea by sashocku

A bit like a chest. New block, works like chest, doesn't swing open. Filled automatically by cats, you can put stuff in too.

MORE PREY: Idea by sashocku

Squirrels, mice, water voles, voles, shrews, swallows, crows, frogs, fish.

MORE ENEMIES: Idea by sashocku

Badgers, dogs, snakes, rogue cats, hawks.

THUNDER PATHS: Idea by sashocku

I'll retexture carts and rails. Die when you touch one.

MEDICINE CATS: Idea by sashocku

Go to highrocks, heal cats, pick herbs more efficently.

HERBS: Idea by me

Catnip, deathberries, stuff like that.

Started making it! Retexturing the chicken to look like a flightless crow until I know how to mod a bit more.

but shadowclan isn't actually evil. and will you add the fith clan i think it was skyclan you know the one firestar brought back together and what about the mountain cats. you also need to add snakes and badgers at somepoint and mabey thunderpaths with monsters zooming down them from time to time (the monsters could act as carts that spawn at random intervals with the thunderpath acting as the rail path.)

also the thing with with shadowclan i belive was that they are good at hidding in and living in swamp. you should also implement prey such as mice, birds, and squrrels.

if you implement prey it would be nice to have a prey pile/block of some sort to store it like they do in the book and you should implement medicine cats.

can help building the forest,ive read the whole series may times, and is it gonna be the forest or the lake and yeah if you managed to change the player api to be like mine little pony that would the best thing ever.and shadow clan inst evil its just a point of view did you read the part where ivypaw get taken by shadow clan the kits thought they would eat them every clan has stereotypes,but that doesnt make it true

Skyclan are cats that have hard pads(i think if i can remember correctly), they can leap high -> the name "SKY"Clan, good at climbing
Shadowclan are pretty good at hunting, live in a very muddy place, usually have lizards, snakes, frogs. they are NOT all evil cats it only seems as this since most of the recent past leaders have been evil, which has taken their rep down. and from the wiki- They are proud, loyal, defensive, and slightly arrogant
Riverclan are clever,graceful.
Windclan are loyal and tough
Thunderclan are Fierce, courageous, loyal.

sorry i freak out about it dying is just ive seen plenty of mods for books i really liked and most of them didnt happen.i think the ideas are great.keep going sounds like its gonna be a great mod

i might be able to do a texture for the thunderpath and monster i never did one before so i dont know how good it would be is it going to be exactly like a cart and rails in terms of model because i think the cart should be twice as big as a normal minecart.
