Hello, I'm reopening my freebuild server, and we want to move the builds from one world to the new world, how can we do this? I tried uploading the old world file as world_nether and using a nether portal, but that didn't work, any other suggestions?

Yes I have World Edit, I just need access to both worlds in one server to transfer them with it, plugin suggestions, anything!

Using WorldEdit, select the stuff you want, use //copy to put it in the clipboard, then do //save [name] to save the clipboard.

Stop the server, change the world, start the server

Then use //load [name] to load that stuff and //paste to paste it

Very simple stuff, thank you very much!

If you use MCEdit you can save a schematic then upload it to your WorldEdit schematics folder. Or upload the whole world as a multiverse world.

When you copy something with WorldEdit, it creates a file. You can move that file into your server files, and paste it into your map.

Can you help me with a problem? I am not an admin or the server owner on a server but I do have worldedit and I was wondering if I could copy builds I made on the multiplayer server to a singleplayer world?
Thanks

you would need to be able to extract the builds somehow.

you might be able to request the server owner make a copy of the map availible, or have them give you just the actual WE schematics of your builds alone, saved from within the game(much smaller files).

There is also used to be a client mod that would save a local copy of online worlds, filled out as you loaded the various chunks. Really cant recall what it was called 'World Downloader mod' , or if its still maintained!

*Edit for accuracy
