THE NEW EPIC GEMSTONES MOD!!

this is the original topic so dont go stealing the mod

The gems( in order of rarity, least rare first):
-Waterstone, not found in caves but in seas, look for the blue bits in sand. This gem can make waterbreathing armour and potions(magic not like air tanks or something) and tools that work the same as iron but normally underwater(this is very hard to obtain even though quite common). Below layer 65.


-Amethyst, cannot be used for tools and armour on its own but when mixed with emerald can make a shadowy mixture, use this to make invisibility armour(still being worked on) . Below layer 35.

-sapphire, can be made into sapphire dust to mix with redstone to create purple ingots, between iron and diamond to fill the gap. Below layer 35.

-Emerald, good for armour and can be made mixed with amethyst (more info above).

-Ruby, makes good armour and tools, ruby dust can be mixed with redstone to enhance it and so is infinitely powered (power continues infinitely). Below layer 35.

-Red beryl (yes its real, but I dont think it has magical properties), EXTREMELY RARE makes beryl dust for armour of invincibility (armour can be made but not magical yet) Only found in veins of 3 max and found below layer 10.

-your probably thinking "what could possibly next?" well this: Unidentified gem, this is not mined but crafted out of 5 red beryl dust and 4 amethyst dust to make Unidentified dust which is smelted to make an Unidentified shard and 4 of these make an Unidentified Gem. But why go to all this trouble? To make tools and armour of this durability:99999999

-Rainbow, an epic gem and I cant reallt tell you the rareness because it is also crafted with 1 ruby, amethyst, sapphire and emerald dusts in a diamond square thing (screenshot of crafting below). Makes armour that makes you super fast and jump higher.

-Secret Gem, you think im gonna tell you about it? you mad bro? trololololol. So many screenshots.

Unidentified dust (used to make unidentified gem)

Woop! the amazing unidentified gem!

Waterstone dust is needed for crafting

All armour and tools are crafted with the dust (except for unidentified and rainbow), this armour lets you breath underwater!

Used in crafting

Speeds you up makes you jump high

Lapis ORE and red beryl are crafted like tnt for magic ingots because crafting is broken, will be fixed soon.
Needs Modloader, modloaderMP(flans),player-API, Forge.

The mod needs a new coder (look in the comments of page 3 to see why) so if anyone can help message me(epic guy) on the forums.

Looks like a pretty sweet ore mod!

The invisibility potion sounds.....DARN AMAZING!!!

Considering that lava lakes are at layer 10, it will make it challenging to get Red Beryls!



The only issue I can think of is that the mod will take up a lot of sprite IDs!(Block IDs are not really a problem with the 4096 IDs mod)

If you go far with this, consider adding forge support!

-Emerald, good for armour and can be made into potion bottles to create potions added in the mod (sorry if I should of said that earlier, also potions will not be added in the FIRST release but in a later update), so any added potions are made in these bottles.

New release soon, rainbow armour almost done, waterstone armour done and secret gem done just needs the generation rate to be fixed.

Mod updated to 1.1.0 go check out the new version! now with secret gem and rainbow armour and waterstone armour working!!!

Hey does anyone know how to add potions or make a new version of redstone that lasts longer or infinatly? if so pm me or if you know a mod that adds either of these pm me a link
