The wealthiest man in the world once lived in this land. He christened his estate "Top Ramen." Now, the greatest treasure in all of Minecraft can be yours if you can unlock Top Ramen Tower and reach the uppermost floor. Adventure awaits!

Description:
Top Ramen is a dungeon-based adventure map combining elements of exploration, platforming, combat, puzzle-solving, and general atmospheric enjoyment. Difficulty is mostly based on accomplishing the tasks, not surviving them (although death is certainly a possibility). Run time is somewhere between the original Portal game and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Map Features (or lack thereof):
- Limited sign reading
- No internal monologue- You can think for yourself!
- No sarcastic, disembodied antagonist!
- Wide variety of puzzles and challenges
- Hub based dungeoning with regular checkpoints to limit the monotony of travel.
- A collection of side-challenges for the motivated adventurer
- A high quality and aesthetically appealing world. (lots of visual breaks!)
- Buckets!
- Access to periphery gameplay mechanics including brewing and enchanting.

DOWNLOAD TOP RAMEN 1.4

Instructions:

1) Download map from above link.
2) Unzip the Top Ramen folder.
3) Place the folder in your minecraft saves folder.
4) Top Ramen designed for vanilla minecraft. (no mods)
5) Top Ramen designed for default texture pack.

Rules:

1) No breaking blocks by hitting them (including with a sword).
2) No placing blocks.
3) No crafting.
4) Only manipulate blocks with tools.
-- Minecarts may be placed on minetracks.
-- Flint and Steel may be used to burn leaf blocks.
-- Bucket may be used to pick up and place water blocks.
-- Arrows may knock down paintings.
-- Bow and sword may be used to kill mobs.
^^^ Use of these tools does not violate rule 1 or 2.
5) You may cook, brew, and enchant. (fuel provided)
6) You may use mob drops (so long as it does not violate the other rules).
7) You may throw items ("Q").
8) If you get stuck for whatever reason, especially in the cases of creepers and endermen, feel free to ignore the rules. They are meant to provide the challenge, not get you stuck in a ditch for eternity.

Version 1.4 Known Bugs:

There is a block in Masonry Mansion that shouldn't be there. Just know that you should throw snowballs through the closest fire.

Top Ramen Top Tips:

1) Carry plenty of food with you. It is provided at checkpoints, and is available through friendly pigs and bovine neighbors.
2) If you are out of view of all man-made objects (which includes torches), you are likely lost and should stop wandering aimlessly.
3) There is plenty of armor hidden around the map waiting to be discovered. (You don't need to spelunk naked.)
4) Don't underestimate the impact of potions and enchantments. Setting everything you hit on fire is pre-tty nice.
5) Have fun- or else.*

Hi there. Tstorm and I are the builders of this map. Did you go through the portal at the end or up the stairs? Did you take a long minecart ride?

Thanks a bunch for the good review, but I can't take credit for that awesome tree. I did build my own, but we ended up totally redoing that dungeon including the tree and I ended up just using a mod to save myself another few days of work. That's just about the only thing in there that we didn't come up with on our own though.
